Cruel, kind, thrilling.
I have to name all moments regarding the children, both "Mjá" Mia and Superman.
He is a very good narrater. He is never at any fault with the character in the story.
Maybe it is when Superman see the pitcures on the computer and thinks he has mislaid his trust in Rafferty. What rage he has felt!!
Good, good story, moving and jet so thrilling. So well read. Thank you.
Yes, I would recommend the book to all that like a good criminal- and mind reading (meaning Dr.Joseph O'Loughlin) story.
Don't know what was best. I few things bothered me such as how the detective had physical endurance to make his inquiring as he did. But it is fiction, right??
I must say that Mr. Lonnen is not quit to my liking reading this book. Many characters where good, like the doctor and his wife for instant. But detective Ruiz was so soft and so different from the book The Sucpect that he lost my a little, if you know what I mean.
Yes,and I listened every minute I had to do so!
Well, I would probably,, if I had habit of reading the same book twice but I do not so.. no.
So many moments in the story are memorable and that is what makes this book so good.
Mr. Redman reads the story so very well and he make all the characters come alive, very enjoyable.
No, not really. This book, on all its pages left me feeling so fine.
I recommend this book to all that enjoy a good thriller/crimestory with mystery feel to it.
So many memorable moments in the story, so many big characters.
John Chancer is so very good narrator and brings depth to the story.
A little bit of both!
Just you read this book, you will not regret it.
Another performer, maybe.
I cannot say as I did not /could not finish listening to it.
Sorry about this. not all books are good and not all performers are good.
I did listen to the end but it was almost difficult for my follow all ends end odds of everybody. Jet, I did and think I got it all, well almost all.
The plot is complex and many threads laid all over the world almost and it kept my tension awake but not quite on the edge of my seat, no.
I honestly don't remember if I have listen to him before, but he is good and I would listen to him again for sure.
Well, I have to say it might have been shorter for my liking at least.
No and yes the narrator is good.
No, I would not. I never quite got the hang of this story,
Three words? Truth, time, tears.
I cannot name one character and say he or she was a favorite. The old grandma I feel I did not get to know well and the mothers are a little unclear and fogy. But still all equally important,, and made the story.
She, Ms. Ruth Ozeki read all character equally good, I hope she reads more book as well as her own and maybe she has?
I don't know. Is this a story of two parallel worlds or times. Is it a story of her self. Is this a story of what??? Now I am writing and now I am not and then what??
Beautiful story, wonderfully read. Thank you.
No, I would not listen to it again or at least not in the very near future. I very nearly do read books twice.
Maybe the books about the Hangman's daughter by Oliver Potzsch or the Bryce Cortenay's stories about Solomon the London thief. not so very similar apart from the timeframe. I do like stories from the 16th and 17th hundred.
Edoardo Ballerini is absolutely great!
This story made my stay awake longer than was health for me and my work!
Now that I have read/listen to Speaks the Nightbird and the Queen of Bedlam, I will take a brake from Matthew Corbett. But I will com back to him after awhile for sure.
Yes, I would recommen this book to those who like people.
Maybe the beginning of Callie's terrible journey with her father through the woods.
No one scene was a favorite but every person had his or hers moment and I liked the way everybody had a voice although I would have liked to get some insight into the mind of the father.
I almost think it was the wife of the sheriff who was the most memorable for her lack of empathy.
Only to thank all the narrators, I liked them all.
No, I would not listen to this book again. Some books are just one time books and this one is one of them
The female partner of law, Gemma (that is what her name sounds to me) was my favorite although I suspected her at some point to be the killer.
He is a very good narrator and made long courtroom sessions sound short.
Almost but not quite.
If you want some fine law firm criminal story and a good narrator, pick this one.
