Lisa reads her life story and shares all her experience, strength and hope she experienced in her life. I gained so much from her open and honest communication and re-listen to it when I am having a difficult time. The best book for healing a broken spirit. Loved every minute of it!!!

Fifteen years after his number-one New York Times best seller, Ageless Body, Timeless Mind, Deepak Chopra revisits "the forgotten miracle" - the body's infinite capacity for change and renewal. You cannot take advantage of this miracle, Chopra says, unless you are willing to completely reinvent your body, transforming it from a material object to a dynamic, flowing process.

What disappointed you about Reinventing the Body, Resurrecting the Soul?

I really wanted to listen to this book but could not get past 5 minutes of the authors droning, thick accent and monotone voice.

Would you ever listen to anything by Deepak Chopra again?

Absolutely, if it was read by a professional reader.

  • A Wolf at the Table: A Memoir of My Father

A Wolf at the Table is the story of Augusten's relationship with his father, John Robison, Sr., a man only briefly touched upon in Running With Scissors. Told with shocking honesty and penetrating insight, A Wolf at the Table is more than the companion volume to Running with Scissors - it's a story of stunning psychological cruelty and the redemptive power of hope.

    James Gordon says: "Embarrassingly Bad"
"This book should come with a Warning"
    Overall

I couldn't get through it and got stuck at the horror show of his pet experience. No need to terrorize yourself if you are a lover of animals and small children.

In Loving What Is, best-selling author Byron Katie introduced thousands of people to her simple and profound method of finding happiness through questioning the mind. Now, I Need Your Love, Is That True? examines a universal, age-old source of anxiety: our relationships with others. In this groundbreaking book, Katie helps you question everything you have been taught to do to gain love and approval. In doing this, you discover how to find genuine love and connection.

    Amy says: "WOW"
    "Waking up to Love"
    Overall

Katie's book speaks to the true nature of people who want to love, crave love, seek it out and yet find it elusive and painful. In her amazing wisdom she provides tools for us to go inside our own minds and find out what is true for us and unravel the pain we think we are in. It was extremely supportive esp. when I was dealing with my own personal pain in relationships. If you have never heard a true teacher, let this be your first. You won't be disappointed
