The dazzling new novel in the #1 New York Times bestselling series from the grand master of adventure. It is called zero point energy - a state of energy contained in all matter everywhere, and thus all but unlimited. Nobody has ever found a way to tap into it, however - until one scientist discovers a way. The problem is, his machines also cause great earthquakes. If Kurt Austin and Joe Zavala and the rest of the NUMA team aren't able to find and destroy them, and soon, the world will be on the threshold of a new era of earth tremors and unchecked volcanism.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Definitely. Cussler still delivers a good story. Even though you know the good guys come out ahead, you still want to find out how and it keeps you interested.

I read on a review somewhere else in which the reviewer mentioned "Did you find yourself sitting in the car or walking another lap trying to finish a chapter?" To me that is is a great measure of how good a book is. And for me, the answer was a resounding yes. Several times!

Have you listened to any of Scott Brick’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Scott did an awesome job. Love the Russian accents :)

    Any additional comments?

Yes, it does go way over the edge of believability as far as science. Some things are just not physically possible...but, you kind of come to expect that with some Cussler novels. If you are the type that wants complete accuracy, it might annoy you. If you just want a great FICTION story, the impossibilities are easy enough to overlook. Don't let it keep you away.
