I've enjoyed the last two books of this series by Brandon Sanderson, but it was my understanding that, since there was so much material, he was splitting the last book into 2 books, numbers 12 and 13. This was obviously not the last book of the last book of this series. What gives? How many actual books will there be in this series? I also agree with a previous reviewer, in that the conflicting emotions of Perrin and Mandragoran go on and on and on. He needed to resolve their inner conflicts a long time ago or stop dwelling on them.

I really enjoyed the performance. The Narrator made you feel as if you were there. The book was funny in its sadness. i would highly recommend this book. i listen in my car and while commutting to and from work by bike. Many times i did not want to turn the book off. i even found ways to continue listening - while shopping, over lunch...etc.

I found the book interesting but lacking. At the end of the first part, i thought the book was finished. It would have been better if it were. It seemed to ramble on looking for a purpose. The contradictions were never resolved such as when the snow child could not be indoors in the depths of winter unless the door was cracked. Suddenly she was able to live through the summer and indoors with a warm wood stove the following winter. I was looking for more.

This book held a lot of promise. Sara Gruen's novel Water For Elephants was excellent. However, this book was a disappointment. The reader had great difficulty pronouncing basic words. The story line was contrived and the ending obvious early on. The book also attempted to develop several different story lines. The only redeeming quality was the Bonobos. Should have worked on developing that more and given up on many of the other tangents. Don't waste your time or your money!

I very much enjoyed the book, but Brandon seems to have used some of the ideas from his Mistborn series with slight modifications. The character development is very good and the world is well developed.

While a very good story, this is another example of 2 readers for the same book or series do not bother to agree on pronunciations of character (or place) names. I totally blame the producer/director for this lapse. While not major it is very annoying to me. The book itself deserves 5 stars, but this aspect of the reading made me subtract 1.
