The Last Battle has started. The seals on the Dark One’s prison are crumbling. The Pattern itself is unraveling, and the armies of the Shadow have begun to boil out of the Blight. The sun has begun to set upon the Third Age. Perrin Aybara is now hunted by specters from his past: Whitecloaks, a slayer of wolves, and the responsibilities of leadership. All the while, an unseen foe is slowly pulling a noose tight around his neck....

Prologue gave us a glimpse of what was to come. The book , so far, lives up to the promise of the prologue. I am up to chapter 8 now and and really excited about what has happened thus far. Like pieces of a puzzle gradually coming together so that one can see more and more of the whole tapestry that this series truly is. A magnificent tapestry with plently of places to view in detail.

The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass. What was, what will be, and what is, May let fall under the Shadow. Let the Dragon ride again on the winds of time. In the Prologue to Towers of Midnight, book thirteen of The Wheel of Time, Lan Mandragoran rides on toward death; Perrin Aybara, Lord Goldeneyes, has a disturbing dream; Galad leads the Whitecloaks into harm’s way; one who has left humanity behind creeps through the Blight; and the Blight border faces invasion.

    "Tower of Midnight Prologue"
    Overall

It is what it said a fast e of things to come. The tastes are varied but made me want more. That is what prologues are supposed to do. That on gave us glimpses of things to come. I found it whetted my appetite. I have read Chapter One before this and listened to Chapter 2 on the Tor site. None of them disappointed me, quite the contrary. The saga continues towards the final conclusion The Memory of Light.

    "New Spring--One Beginning"
    Overall

New Spring is the prequel to Robert Jordan Wheel of Time series. IT was added later after the success of the series.

The Birth of the Dragon was foretold shortly before his birth on Mount Dragon By and Aes Sedai with Foretelling. Moraine and Suian are Aes Sedai in training and are, with others trainees, sent out to find the child prophesied to be born on the slopes of Dragon Mount.

The White Tower knows of his birth but so do the Shadowfriends amongst the Aes Sedai. The lines have been drawn, but who would prevail.
