Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten. Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning-author John Green’s most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

Where does The Fault in Our Stars rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Very high. Even though it was a YA book, my wife and I loved it

Who was your favorite character and why?

All of them; they were very well developed by the author

What does Kate Rudd bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She did an excellent job in convincing me that she was Hazel Grace

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and at the same time it was a book I did not want to end

    Any additional comments?

The book dealt with terminal cancer in a whole new way by putting the faces of teens on it
