Brigitte Gabriel delves deeply into Islam - a religion rooted in the seventh century with teachings that are absolutely opposed to democracy and equality - and its spread across the U.S. and Europe.

Gabriel could have done this in fewer words and a little less repetition but the facts are there. All Amercians need to understand the people and the beliefs that Gabriel discusses in this piece. There is nothing peaceful about Islam and nothing rational about its believers. The Amercian government has its head in the sand thinking it can negotiate with this bunch and Gabriel makes clear why. A must listen for anyone not familiar with the enemy called Islam.

At the end of the last century, Johnstown, Pennsylvania, was a booming coal-and-steel town filled with hardworking families striving for a piece of the nation's burgeoning industrial prosperity. In the mountains above Johnstown, an old earth dam had been hastily rebuilt to create a lake for an exclusive summer resort patronized by the tycoons of that same industrial prosperity, among them Andrew Carnegie, Henry Clay Frick, and Andrew Mellon.

Susan K Donley says: "A page-turner! HIstory that reads like a novel"

Have you listened to any of Edward Herrmann’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Mr. Herrmann is the best reader I have heard

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
