Funny, Ironic, Cynical
Miss Texas, loved her.
No, first one, but I will read more.
Wanted to savor it.
loved the story line, loved Jen's (author) dialog. Not crazy about her reading it. I like when she reads her own stuff but not so great for a novel
The narration was great, smooth & southern. I love this author and this was one of her best stories.
One of Tim Dorsey's BEST. You gotta love Serge!! Him and Coleman are in great form in this book. Tim Dorsey can do no wrong for me, but this was one of his best. A great RIDE!
There is no comparision! Fun, Funny, Strange, Horrific, all at the same time.
Excellent, He IS Serge and Coleman!!
The entire book moved you to laugh and to be sick all at the same time.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!! But you have to have a sense of humor!!
I loved all her other books but this one was not what I expected, not my favorite
Ms. Frank writes fabulous southern book, about the people and locations of the south, this was not one of them.
It was fine.
She is one of my favorite authors, but this is not her best book.
This one is not as funny as she usually is, a little more "preachy"
Only she can read it likes she wants you to hear it. Very Good!!
Very emotional at times
Loved hearing Andy voice read his own words. So much fun!
Found out so much about Andy's background and fabulous work ethic.
Only he can tell the listener like he wants it to be heard. Wonderful!
When he came out. Very touching.
LOVE Mary Kay Andrews! But she is a SOUTHERN author, the narration was NOT and when she tried to be it was terrible. Mary Kay should know better than to have someone read her southern novels with such a terrible accent. Took away from the story.
Liked the supporting cast of characters.
She was so wrong for this book!
It was just "ok"
please Mary Kay, have a real southerner read your books. (or a better actress). All your other books have been so much fun!!
The story was good, I liked the characters but the narration was so bad it took away from the book.
Narrator was horrible. She sounded like she was 100 years old and might not make it to the end of the book. As a southern girl myself, no one here in the south sounds like this....even if they were 100 years old.
NOT in this format, i am sure the book was a fine read.
It was beyond repair. I have not listen to this narrator before so I am not sure if she was trying to fake a southern accent or her voice was just that
