Great story but the volume and tone of the speaker changed quite often. There just was not consistancy in the reading to the point of distraction.
I could've lived without some of the Gore. Incredible attention to detail kept me enthralled throughout the entire book, I just got uncomfortable at some point. An in depth text and it excellent performance, this book just became one of my favorites. I will definitely be checking out more by this author.
I really love this story, but I just could not get past the narrator. Flat and never seemed to be in character. The voice never seem to match the character to a point that I was not ever able to believe it.not a bad narrator, just not the right choice for the story.
This just became one of my favorite books. It is very good in every area, plot, character development, and style. It is a complete story that doesn't have gaps. I cannot say how much I enjoyed this story.
It was tolerable and an ok story but not my favorite. Kind of dull and boring. Will not be looking into other H.G. Wells stories.
I would have given it 5 stars but it had a bit of repetition. Very interesting points in a mostly respectful way. I am a huge Bill Nye fan so this was an easy choice for me.
This is the story of Navy SEALs who are persecuted for simply doing their job. Makes me sad to think that the U.S. Navy would commit such a terrible betrayal.
A little hokey and Hollywood but very entertaining. Dick Hill does a good job and with a new cast of characters in each book it stays interesting. Child does a good job of not repeating plots or details. I will, more than likely, finish the series.
This is my favorite King novel so far. The great character development with a plot that you can follow. Leaves you hanging on for more when it switches directions and always brings you back. I just loved it.
I loved Slumdog Millionaire and I was really looking forward to this. I was slightly disappointed. This was entertaining and I liked it but it lacked depth in most characters and the plot was shaky.
Sneha Mathan was absolutely enchanting and the best part of the entire experience. I will be looking for more from her.
I know Carolla is a comedian and I know he is joking about some of the topics but he hits the nail directly on the head.
This book will not sit well with liberals and people who take themselves too seriously. He comes off as a racist and insensitive. Oh well! It is very funny and takes topics on directly in your face.
I am able to look past the fact that he is saying the things that some don't want to say and that he does point out things most want to brush under the rug and see the bigger point. He has made a very funny book that addresses real issues.
I will definitely be looking into more from Carolla.
