Ok, this is a bit like a textbook but if you are really into the science of food or just wonder about some if the myths/facts about what you eat this is a really good listen.
Look, it is not a story. If you are looking for a story you really need to look elsewhere. If you love to cook you may find this book as fascinating as I did.

Mitch Rapp is used to winning. But in this follow-up to number-one New York Times best-selling The Survivor, the CIA operative finds himself chasing false leads from continent to continent in an effort to keep Pakistani nukes from falling into the hands of terrorists. Together with friend and colleague Scott Coleman, Rapp struggles to prevent the loss of these lethal weapons, particularly because Russia is also interested in the nukes, though not for the same reason as Rapp and Coleman.

Something definitely feel different about this novel but I am not sure if that is just something from my subconscious or an actual change in the writing style. I do not understand the criticism from others as Rapp seems to be the same character I Propano over all of the previous novels. I enjoyed this book as much as the rest of the series and hope Mills continues. I've been a Vince Flynn fan for many years and consider this one of my favorite book series...after this edition my pinion has been changed.

I liked the concept of the book and i really loved how it was written. It is totally worth a listen. It is interesting enough but the way it is written still amazes me. Listen after the story and you will gain more insight. The style is the reason that it got such high marks.

This was a pretty good plot that involved some decent twists. I wanted to choke the narrator at first but that quickly faded. It was truly a decent story, nothing great but solid.

I enjoyed this book quite a bit. It is reminiscent of a Jack Reacher book mixed with a little Jason Borne. I had fun with it even when it was completely unbelievable. It is a break from reality that will occupy your time and keep you entertained.

Everything starts somewhere. For elite military cop Jack Reacher, that somewhere was Carter Crossing, Mississippi, way back in 1997. A young woman is dead, and solid evidence points to a soldier at a nearby military base. But that soldier has powerful friends in Washington. Reacher is ordered undercover - to find out everything he can, to control the local police, and then to vanish. Reacher is a good soldier. But when he gets to Carter Crossing, he finds layers no one saw coming, and the investigation spins out of control. Local sheriff Elizabeth Deveraux has a thirst for justice - and an appetite for secrets.

This is 2nd to last on the Reacher scale. I really didn't care for this edition. I think it tried to reach a different audience. I didn't need the over done and poorly executed sex scenes. I don't mind a little fluff but this is supposed to be an action series, not a dime store romance novel. I would only recommend this because it is part of the series.

  • Hamlet, Prince of Denmark: A Novel

It is a tale of ghosts, of madness, of revenge - of old alliances giving way to new intrigues. Denmark is changing, shaking off its medieval past. War with Norway is on the horizon. And Hamlet - son of the old king, nephew of the new - becomes increasingly entangled in a web of deception - and murder. Beautifully performed by actor Richard Armitage ("Thorin Oakenshield" in the Hobbit films), Hamlet, Prince of Denmark takes Shakespeare’s original into unexpected realms, reinventing a story we thought we knew.

I wasn't thrilled with this thing started out but it really grew on me fast. I like the story the twist in the addition to a classic. I was a little annoyed with the fact that everyone from Denmark had an English accent. Other than that I think it was very well read, a very good story, and quite enjoyable.

This book at my interest from beginning to end, the character development was outstanding and the plot was gripping. I think this is a must read for any King fan.
