I want to feel good when I complete a story & am a little harsh on depressing ones. There are a few sad ones that I love but not many.

The Iliad is one of the most enduring creations of Western Civilization and was originally written to be recited or chanted to the accompaniment of various instruments. Properly performed, this work today is just as meaningful, just as powerful and just as entertaining as it was in the ninth century B.C.,and it casts its spell upon modern listeners with the same raw intensity as it did upon the people of ancient times.

My first look into Lee Child and I think it was pretty well done. I don't think it was the best but it was certainly worth the listen. My genre of story but I hope for a little more in the future with this series.

Enough story to keep me very interested and light enough for the hours to fly by.

I really liked this blend of real and fantasy.

The story is set in the real world and surrounded in fantasy, great job and I can't wait for the next in the series.

This is what I have grown to expect from Dan Brown. Good story, nice plot twist and well written. Characters you can believe with a story that is a bit fantastic at times. I enjoyed it as much as other works by Brown. My list for his work would be Inferno, DaVinci Code, The Lost Symbol, Deception Point, Angels and Demons, and last The Great Expectation School.

As the off-season caretaker at the atmospheric old hotel, he'll have plenty of time to spend reconnecting with his family and working on his writing. In David and Goliath, Malcolm Gladwell challenges how we think about obstacles and disadvantages, offering a new interpretation of what it means to be discriminated against, or cope with a disability, or lose a parent, or attend a mediocre school, or suffer from any number of other apparent setbacks. Gladwell begins with the real story of what happened between the giant and the shepherd boy those many years ago.

Academy Award nominee Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction, Star Wars films), fresh off the success of his uproarious, Audie-nominated performance of the mock children’s book Go the F**k to Sleep, delivers a swaggering, darkly-humored rendering of Chester Himes’ classic first novel.

I thought that Jackson did a fantastic job narrating but I feel like the story was a little weak. I appreciate what Himes did with this but I just didn't feel like the story was deep enough. I enjoyed the story but it felt a little juvenile.
