Fastforward to 2 hours 54 minutes and the story begins. It crawls at times and at other times just darn silly. The whole plot, some HMO wanting to OFF patients, was rather old. The only prophetic portion is that the human genome will change our future. Leave this on the shelf.

Ok, so you get this because you want to zoom off and hold an AK-47 and sneak around with an international group of killers with some morals or outstanding patriotic quality. Here's another example. Shakespeare it aint. Harlequin it aint. Ludlum it is, and if that's what you're looking for, check this one out.

Narration was about a 2/5. Not the best. Accents change and you can't tell which Arab character he's referring to at times. The story was about a 1.5/5. Politically motivated (which has nothing to do with the plot), unbelievable and predictable at times. There's one real sappy, whiny, dull CIA protagonist and he should have died at the end assuring us of no more from this man. I hope the terrorists are as dumb as the book portrays.

Chick book... definitely! I mean no disrespect to the writer nor those who found deep resonance with the protagonist. But, no man will wander past 1 hour 33 minutes without saying, "Shoot...there goes another book credit..." What was I thinking.

This is a truly amazing story. All will find it hard to put down. It explores human conditions: health, suffering, hunger. It is about one man's fight against one evil: poverty. I am a conservative, Family Physician who does mission work in Central and South America. This has nothing to do with Democrats or Republicans. It is about humanity, and one incredible man's preferential option for the poor. A must read for all.

This was a fun, quick and great spy novel. I was amazed at the concise, accurate characterizations. Well researched but not boring. Reader was excellent (which is 60% of any audiobook). Never dull. My tastes are rather eclectic, but everyone will like this classic espionage paperback. Get it today.

This is a must have for any family with children 3 years and above. The stories are wonderful and voiced so well. You cannot help but laugh aloud each time Piglet talks. Great fun for all! Replayability? Definately... requested almost nightly by our boys.

Ok... Imagine reading the USA Today front page polls for 6 1/2 hours, and then call it science. That is what Levitt has accomplished here. Lots of correlations, or rather, possible correlations misconstrued into causality, with an authoritarian punch. The appeal to authority fallacy from Login 101 is found throughout this work. Interesting? Yes at first. Like the USA Today polls and horoscopes. But not for 6 1/2 hours and not from an economist who is merely dabbling in sociology with the wrong tools.

Refreshing! As an historical novel, it deserves a solid 4 stars. The reader was excellent (which is 60% of every audible selection). The story was cohesive and entertaining. The characters were believable. To the skeptic: this is a novel and not a dissertation. Remember that and you will enjoy it. Why not 5 stars? Jesus cries too much. The family laugh was nice, but a bit overdone. And the long after thought by Ann Rice was ...well... long. Don't read it before hand as suggested by others. That will ruin the "novelty" of this novel.

No matter if your are firmly of the Democratic or Republican field, this book is worth the listen. It defines "neocons" once and for all. He makes a plausible link between the trade deficit, unbalanced budget and Iraq. New lines are drawn between conservative, neoconservatives, liberals and the farther left outlining the political camps for 2008. And once and for all, it is a political book written by a scholar not a newscaster, comedian or reporter. It's Pat Buchanan so expect the angle to come from the right, but dont let that stop you. I gave 4/5 because it is abridged...
