"Loved it!"
I'm loving these Scarpetta books, and I've enjoyed listening to Critt's character choices.
She has kept the same characterizations from the first book until now, and it makes the books more realistic, as if we're listening to real relationships evolve. I saw someone complaining about her voice for Wesley, and that just seems like a negative negative Nancy thing to complain about.
Sure he's not voiced like Mark was, but he is voiced like he always has been, which suits his personality. There are some actual human beings who fall in love with guys who chew their words and take life a little too seriously.
I'm running through these books like water - I'm already dreading the end - of the series, and I believe a brand new book comes out soon!
"Great story, wonderful acting"
Butcher's books continue to get better and better as the series goes on. His stories are wonderful and captivating. The writing at times seems a little bit less than fantastic, but the stories are worth it, and the writing gets better with every book in the series.
Clearly Harry Dresden.
Dresden.
