I was very surprised
they worked well together and made the characters come alive for me
no extreme reaction at all.
No, it takes a really intriguing story or an exceptionally written book for me to listen more than once.
only to follow in the series but I think its not required as this book doesn't take the series anywhere.
I like Tom Stechschulte's performances in other series but this one ? not so much. he is too soft for this book.
I was very surprised by the sex scenes and thought some things are just better left to the imagination.
all of Pines was memorable because as it was unfolding I felt terrorized along side Ethan.
don't want to spoil anything….
I don't know if I was moved but I sure was biting my nails and staying up way too late.
this is a gripping chilling novel. I've read Justin Cronin the 12 and passage and liked that futuristic tale and although this novel is much shorter and not as deep it is a great listen.I bought the second in the trilogy before I finished the first and would have bought the third if it were available. I will patiently wait. I wish Audible had an alert feature.
a bit of depth or a better narrator, sorry.
yes, I truly love NR and am just disappointed by this series because combining the 3 would have made better sense story wise and dollar wise.
dont really follow narrators much
kept me guessing
maybe not the edge of my seat but I enjoyed the directional changes
I almost always enjoy his ability to give a little more depth to a story with his "performance style"
I would always want to listen at once, just like reading but its impossible of course.
yes, it will probably be right before book 3 comes out though
too many to count
yes, I have listened to many of Scott Bricks performances. He can sometimes be over the top with the whiny adults or children's voices in other books but I have no complaint at all about this books reading. I really enjoyed his performance.
it was sad in that I may not believe this experiment is possible but I don't think it is that far off base as and end of civilization as we know it.
learning the backgrounds of the characters
how all the characters stories were brought together and expounded upon.
his cadence and how he is able to give each character the certain something special that whether they are good or evil I can understand them.
I felt sad for Agent Pendergast
I think this series would be best sent to Harlequin and combined so as to save time and money. Something truly lacking in the story, no depth and the narration is as slow as frozen molasses.
I am a Nora Roberts fan btw just not this series and certainly not for the cost.
the continuity of the characters in the series
I enjoyed the narration & the suspense he created. I can not imagine trying to sound like the opposite sex. cudo's to those who can.
Too spooky to laugh or cry but thats why I like Preston & Child.
Scale of 1-10, an 11
I enjoy his performances, especially Pendergast.
too spooky to laugh or cry but certainly a few chuckles
