"New Book - Old Koontz"
This is like returning to Koontz's early years which were awesome. He's got his touch back and it's great.
"Star Chamber taken to new level"
Great story. Reminds me of the movie "The Star Chamber" with Michael Douglas. Only this one has a lot more action.
Excellent premise.
"Fascinating Cliffhanger"
Great extension of the Camel Club characters. Two separate stories are weaved throughout the text until one character crosses over into the other story.
Agent Alex Ford isn't used very much which is a shame as his character in the first installment was pretty good.
Main story wraps up pretty good, but secondary story is cut off abruptly leaving the anticipation that a third installment of the Camel Club is forthcoming.
Narration on this one is much better as multiple readers are used.
"Great start for a series"
Baldacci has set up a good cast of characters that should be developed into a descent string of books.
"Good Book"
A lot like you want from Koontz. Could use a little less humor, but overall a great premise. Winds up a little too quick.
