Here is the previously untold story of Captain Janeway's crew. They began as individuals, following very different pathways, but together, under the leadership of one remarkable woman, they have become one of the finest teams in the known universe - the crew of the Voyager. Read by Robert Picardo!

I love getting backstory for characters even if they are not "canonical". However Jeri Taylor contradicts the story of the show from time to time and she simply cannot get the idea of a Janeway/Chakotay romance out of her mind. Every book she has written throws them together and the "canonical" storyline doesn't. Give it up Jeri!

Two BBC Radio programmes exploring President John F. Kennedy's shocking assassination on 22 November 1963. In Something Is Terribly Wrong, first broadcast in 2003, Alan Thompson charts the confusion and disbelief after the assassination. He returns to key sites in Dallas, and talks to eyewitnesses including Nellie Connally (ex-First Lady of Texas), Jim Leavelle (ex-Dallas detective), Jim Ewell (ex-Dallas Morning News correspondent), Aubry Rike (ambulance driver/witness).

    Any additional comments?

The book was filled from start to finish with bad facts, bad chronology, bad information and bad conclusions. No one should even waste their time and money on this book.

This comprehensive series of 84 lectures features three award-winning historians sharing their insights into this nation's past-from the European settlement and the Revolutionary War through the Civil War, 19th-century industrialization, two world wars, and the present day. These lectures give you the opportunity to grasp the different aspects of our past that combine to make us distinctly American, and to gain the knowledge so essential to recognizing not only what makes this country such a noteworthy part of world history, but the varying degrees to which it has lived up to its ideals.

What did you love best about The History of the United States, 2nd Edition?

    I learned a lot that I didn't know -- particularly about Reconstruction.

    Any additional comments?

I would like someone else to do the last segments. Not only were there errors, the instructor seemed biased.

Special Agent Mary Stevens works in the Investigative Support Unit at the FBI, a unit that handles the crimes of serial killers. Someone is murdering unfaithful men and dismembering their bodies, playing a cat-and-mouse game with the FBI and with Mary in particular. One of the many tools the killer is using is an "alibi service," a company that provides alibis to people so that they can have an affair. Can Mary stop the Alibi Murderer when she doesn't even know whether it's a man or a woman?

What is all this religious stuff about? This book has the potential to be a modestly good thriller, but there is just too much junk in the story. Did someone edit this? Did someone rewrite this?
