Theresa has been given a beautiful gift and I love that she has taken the time and effort to write this book. Lives will change; I personally have a more peaceful outlook on Death and I know better what I need to do while I am here in the physical world.
    Thank you THERESA!!!!

  • 11-22-63: A Novel

On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

What did you like best about this story?

The ending. Sometimes you read a book thats so good you can't put it down muchless wait for the end and the end comes and it's a major disappointment. This book ends leaving you satisfied and smiling.

Have you listened to any of Craig Wasson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I haven't heard a narration by Craig Wasson, this was my first and he certainly didn't dissapoint.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

This book was very long, sometimes repetitious so due to the length of the book I wouldn't want to listen to it in one sitting.

    Any additional comments?

I've never had much interest in History, terrible at it in High School but I am a big Stephen King fan so I had to listen. Not only was I surprised at how the book kept me interested; it taught me many things about that era that I found to be fascinating. I wasn't born when JKF was assisnated so this book was one I will always remember and I am glad I opened my mind to a book that I woud normally shun.

Why we think it’s a great listen: The most celebrated performance in all of Audible’s history, The Help has nearly 2,000 5-star reviews from your fellow listeners. We hear the print book’s not bad, either. In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another.

Where does The Help rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This was my first audible book and I could not stop listening to it. The minute I got out of my car, I had my headphones on. I LOVE everything about the story and the narrating is excellent. I decided on this book because it was suggested for First Time Listeners and it did not disappoint. I suggest EVERYONE listen to this beautiful story whether your a First Time or Long Time Listener!
