I first hear Mr. MacKay talk about this book in an interview with Jay Abraham. After that, I had to have it, and I wasn't disappointed. MacKay knows his business, and he shares his thoughts, approach and a lifetime of experiences in a nice neat package. All of his books are excellent and well worth your time, but this one pulls a lot of thought and know-how together. The material is well presented and serves as an important reminder to an experienced salesperson and/or marketer. The person new to business will find a wealth of useful information.

Anyone who writes as well as Nevada Barr should never be abridged into an audiobook. I'm still not really sure what happened. It was a confusing and boring read...all the fabulous Nevada Barr descriptions were cut. I hated it.

Okay, confession, I saw the movie first. That was good, but the best part of the movie is that it stirred me to want to read the book. Okay, so I listened to it, and it's fabulous. If you even remotely appreciate the game of baseball, you'll love this book.

Lewis has artfully tracked all the historical threads from their origin through to their connection with Billy Beane and what he proved was possible when you weren't the best bankrolled franchise in major leage baseball.

I didn't realize that all the fantasy league play was based on this whole new world of statistical analysis.

Lewis writes a good book. Even though it's nonfiction, I have to call it creative nonfiction. It keeps you interested in the story and what's going to happen next, which is why (I think) the movie follows the book so well.

But don't be satisfied just watching the movie. The background to this story is another story all together and equally interesting.

This book is a solid home run.

If you want a new perspective on what motivates us in our work, play...everything, then this is the book you need to read/listen to.

Solid research. Thoughful analysis. Actionable information. I've read a lot of books in this vein, but Drive has given me new ideas.

A friend of mine recommended Drive to his brother, who read it and promptly changed his entire approach to compensation within his business.

This is every bit as much of a must-read as Outliers, Tipping Point, Blue Ocean Strategy or Black Swan. This is a new classic and bears reading and re-reading.

What can I say that hasn't been said about these amazing audiobooks. The combination of Evanovich and King results is pure entertainment for the listener. I just love these fast-moving, light-hearted stories. Whatever could happen to Stephanie Plum does...and she still comes out on top.

How can you have a bad day when you've listened to the latest antics by Lula and Stephanie's Grandma? Answer, you can't. If you haven't listened to this latest story yet, download now and give yourself a well-deserved treat.

This is a book well worth your time. You'll see just how connected at the hip our banks, government and Wall Street really are. Ron Suskind is a Democrat and he writes with his Democrat perspective, but he is for the most part even handed. I think he may be a little kinder, more forgiving and definitely more understanding of these people than I am, but he is fair.

He seems to conclude that the man who ran for president (Barack Obama) just has not delivered. Because he had higher expectations and hopes for Obama in the begining--and more than I ever had--he probably had trouble bringing this book to light.

So, while I don't agree with all of Mr. Suskind's beliefs and premises regarding the size and role of government and philosophy of economics, I appreciate how much he has put before the American people in a good read.

I'm a new fan of Anna Pigeon and her sister Molly. The story kept me engaged...it's a page turner. The characters are rich and author Nevada Barr is skillful in unfolding them before your eyes. Beautiful description of the west Texas Guadalupe Mountains. Barr knows whereof she writes.

The story itself is fresh and exciting. Certainly no retreads here.

Barbara Rosenblat brings a lot to the reading of Track of the Cat. She reads well, has a strong, expressive voice. And while it's not quite the performance level of say Lorelei King reading a Stephanie Plum mystery (Janet Evanovich), Rosenblat does the story and the characters justice...and then some.

I would (and will) listen to this book at least once or twice a year...for the next couple of years at least and as I build my business. Norm shares a lot of personal insight and experience. He's generous with his information. And if you want to see both what can go right as well as what can go wrong, this is a great place to learn.

Is the business viable? That's just not a phrase I've used before. But when it finally sunk in I saw a whole new way to assess a business. I've already learned just how important preserving capital is and doing what needs to be done to stay alive, but Norm has given me more tools for the analysis as to what it takes going into the venture to have even a rat's chance of succeeding.

Oh yeah, I'll be rereading this one.

Well I haven't yet

This is only my third Ann Pigeon story. Nevada Barr does a very nice job of building upon the character. We learn more about her (and her past) all the time. It unfolds. I also like Molly, Ann's sister in NYC. She's quite a character.

This is a powerful and complex story that comes together in an exciting and believable way. Everything gets resolved, explained and you come away satisfied.

Okay, I love all these Stephanie Plum audio books. I stress the audio books because Lorelei King's performance IS half the fun...and that's not taking anything away from Janet Evanovich. So any Plum novel read by King is a winner in my book.

This one was particularly funny. Stephanie has a lot of trouble resisting the men in her life...oh heck, she can't resist them at all.
