Senior Chief "Harvard" Becker believes that there is no room for women in a combat zone. It's too dangerous, too tough, and with P. J. involved, too distracting. He might respect her sharp intellect and her shooting abilities, but he still doesn't want the responsibility of making sure she stays alive. But P. J. isn't a woman who backs down easily, and to her mind, Harvard has a lot to learn. She just doesn't expect him to be so eager to instruct her on other subjects, like trust, desire - and maybe even love.

I enjoy all of Suzanne Brockmann's books but what confused me on this one was the lead in announcer saying this book was read by Gabra Zackman, so I was all geared for her and on come Maia Guest. My hope is that by writing this review Maia Guest will get the credit she deserves.
I really appreciate how Suzanne spends the time developing her characters and integrates them into other stories. It makes you feel more close and involved in the story. She is never afraid to write about a political, emotional or social subject. She also doesn't present the subject in a way that turns the reader off. I really enjoy her writing.

Rumor has it that a collection of priceless ancient relics representing the Seven Deadly Sins have made their way to Boston’s North Shore. Partnered with pastry chef Lizzie Tucker, Diesel bullies and charms his way through historic Salem to track them down - and his mastermind cousin Gerewulf Grimorie. The black-haired, black-hearted Wulf is on the hunt for the relic representing gluttony. Now in a race against time, the pair soon finds out that more isn’t always better, as they battle Wulf and the first of the deadly sins.

I was very disappointed that the female character in Wicked Appetite was so much like Stephanie Plum. She had brownish hair that she puts up in a pony tail that Diesel tugs on (which is what he does with Plum). There were one or two times in the book I was sure I had read the line in a Plum book. I expected Diesel to be Diesel and Carl the Monkey to be Carl but I was really hoping for something new and exciting but was very disappointed.
