The last time Sophie saw sexy P.I. Anatoly Darinsky, he practically danced a jig when she waved goodbye; a normal reaction for a man who'd nearly bought the farm trying to protect her from her own foolishness. What are the chances he'd agree to take incriminating pictures of her sister's philandering husband? Or that he'd let her tag along, you know, for research?

Loved the use of sarcasm by many of the characters. Enough drama in the story to keep you interested too.

Fun to listen to when you want to tune out and let your brain relax and not think about anything serious. A little bit fluffy in content, but amusing nonetheless.

A director and screenwriter, Jessie Nelson and writing partner Karen Leigh Hopkins have created a sparkling tale that will touch young listeners’ hearts and tickle their funny bones. Zach has been hoping and hoping for a new dog, but when he finally gets one, Larry isn’t exactly the kind of canine Zach had in mind. Larry is a mutt! And a strange-looking mutt at that! But there’s something about Larry that Zach doesn’t know. When Larry wags his tail, magic happens.

My 6 yo daughter loves this story. I was a little surprised since the main character is a boy, but she has listened to it repeatedly for the last month. The story is "fresh" and very cute. The narrator is young and does a great job.

Fan-adored author Joanne Fluke always satisfies the cravings of listeners who like their mysteries served with a sugary sweet confection. Hannah Swensen, like most women in Lake Eden, Minnesota, is not a fan of Ronni Ward - the man-stealing gym bunny. So when Ronni turns up lifeless in a Jacuzzi - accompanied by one of Hannah's cream puffs - the long list of suspects begins with Hannah.

    Overall

The Hannah Swensen series is entertaining and enjoyable. At first the recipes were off-putting to me and then I realized I'd listen when I was interested or tune them out if I wasn't. I listen to audio books when I'm running and when I'm falling asleep (instead of TV). Two different venues I know, but I can be entertained by the book without having to concentrate. Very relaxing to me!
