Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Classic writer Agatha Christie and that man who brought the character to life. David Suchet is wonderful. I wish that all HP novels on audible were read by Mr. Suchet.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

I could not wait to get back to this novel. When my iPhone volume dimmed for an incoming call...I was depressed to take it.

What about David Suchet’s performance did you like?

Because of his performance on the BBC series, it is the voice that you think of when you here Hercule Poriot.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

The Odd Little Man from the Village.

The Last of the Mohicans is a story of romance and adventure on the American frontier. It is a story of love and loyalty, and of America's coming of age. While the French and Indians besiege Fort William Henry, Cora and Alice Munro, daughters of the English commander, are on their way to join him. They are accompanied by Major Duncan Heyward, Alice's fiance, and by the treacherous Indian Magua, who secretly serves the French.

    Peregrin says: "Dreadful reading."

Where does The Last of the Mohicans rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It took a little while to settle in with this audiobook...but some wonder tales emerged. The audio quality is less than stellar. A poor conversion to digital leaves an unnatural sounding speech and often a "Jumpy and clipped" sound to the presentation.

Who was your favorite character and why?

    Loved the Scout

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Bill Weideman?

Bill did a fine job...poor audio quality overshadowed his performance

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Audio books are not possible to down in one sitting.
