The myth of innovation is that brilliant ideas leap fully formed from the minds of geniuses. The reality is that most innovations come from a process of rigorous examination through which great ideas are identified and developed before being realized as new offerings and capabilities. This is not a book by designers for designers; this is a book for creative leaders seeking to infuse design thinking into every level of an organization's products or service to drive new alternatives for business and society.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I wanted to learn about Design Thinking, not just about the authors accomplishments.

What was most disappointing about Tim Brown’s story?

    I didn't learn anything.

What three words best describe Tim Roberts’s performance?

    He is fine.

What character would you cut from Change by Design: How Design Thinking Transforms Organizations and Inspires Innovation?

    The author.

    Any additional comments?

When I decided to learn more about Design Thinking, I was expecting a book that would educate me. Instead, this book is a summary of the author's company's accomplishments. If you are looking for any level of detail as to how it's done, forget this book.
