This book was an excellent conclusion to the series. It's so good to see an author stick to his guns and tie up a series on time! He's left enough room for future books in the series. Looking forward to seeing some new books in the next few years; however, I'm also really looking forward to Jim's new SciFi series :) If you're a fan of the series this book will not disappoint!

Young Cayleb Ahrmahk has accomplished things few people could even dream of. Not yet even thirty years old, he’s won the most crushing naval victories in human history. He’s smashed a hostile alliance of no less than five princedoms and won the hand of the beautiful young Queen Sharleyan of Chisholm. Cayleb and Sharleyan have created the Charisian Empire, the greatest naval power in the history of Safehold, and they’ve turned Charis into a place of refuge for all who treasure freedom.

This was a great addition to the Safehold series. I'm so enjoying this entire series and look forward to the next installment :)

As war continues to rage between the Alliance and Syndicate Worlds, Captain "Black Jack" Geary is promoted to admiral - even though the ruling council fears he may stage a military coup. His new rank gives him the authority to negotiate with the Syndics, who have suffered tremendous losses and may finally be willing to end the war. But an even greater alien threat lurks on the far side of the Syndic occupied space.

I love this series and I think this wrapped things up nicely and leaves the ground work for the next book in the series. Can't wait!

This was another great addition to the series; however, I'm a bit disappointed that it didn't get wrapped up as nicely as some of her other books.

As a devastating hurricane approaches, as the benighted creations of Victor Helios begin to spin out of control, as New Orleans descends into chaos and the future of humanity hangs in the balance, the only hope rests with Victor's first, failed attempt to build the perfect human. Deucalion's centuries-old history began as the original manifestation of a soulless vision and it is fated to end in the ultimate confrontation between a damned creature and his mad creator.

I loved the first two books, and I've been waiting for this book for 3 years, and maybe that's why I was let down. Honestly, it felt like he put in a lot of unnecessary filler. He left some room for further novels; however, I hope he does a better job of telling Deucalion's next story.

I got my addiction to this series after watching trueblood on HBO. They left such a dirty trick spoiler, I had to find out what happened next. Next thing I know it's two weeks later and I've killed the entire series...then I had to wait for the latest installment in the series, Dead and Gone. All I can say is the wait was worth it :) I can't wait to see what happens next!

Finally, the epic tale that has never been told: the tragic story of the destruction of Superman's home planet. Everyone knows how Kal-El (Superman) was sent to Earth before his planet exploded. Now Kevin J. Anderson unfolds the riveting backstory of this iconic superhero. The Last Days of Krypton is a sweeping tale of the politics and betrayals that blinded both heroes and villains to the disaster that would destroy Krypton.

MM says: "Great book, Lousy Narrator"
    "Well Done"
    Overall

I really enjoyed the book. My only gripe is that KJA tie some more of the Smallville lore into it; however, even without that it was still very well done.
