Tom Clancy's most shocking story to date - and closer to reality than any government would care to admit. John Clark, newly named head of an international task force dedicated to combating terrorism, faces a terrorist group so extreme that their success could literally mean the end of life on this earth as we know it.

    Overall

I was real nervous about purchasing this book due to the issues everyone seems to have with the narrator. I took a chance, and let me tell you...GREAT BOOK!!!!! The narrator is not as nearly as bad as everyone is making him out to be. He is not the best, but I followed him without a problem and he DEFINITELY did not ruin the story! (It's only a book people! Being just a little to picky!) The story was compelling, the plot got better and better with every moment and the there was never a dull point. If you like military or spy novels, this is the book for you!

Seconds before the Earth is demolished to make way for a galactic freeway, Arthur Dent is plucked off the planet by his friend Ford Prefect, a researcher for the revised edition of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy who, for the last 15 years, has been posing as an out-of-work actor.

    "This is a strainge book!"
    Overall

This is a strainge book! Interesting story line (though it jumps around a lot), and you will have to listen to it 3 or 4 time in order to get the idea. Most writers do not like his dry sense of humor or his basic writing style, but then again, most writers arn't making the millions he is making off his novels (so I guess he is doing something right). All in all, I would get this book just to say that you read it (since everyone else has), but it is not going to leave you astounded. It scores a 4 out of 5 in readibility but a average 3 on the good old plot-o-meter!
