If you're a Jane Austen fan, then I think you will enjoy this book. PD James does an excellent job in writing in an Austen-like style. Strong recommendation.
BIG fan of Sandford's Prey series, BIG fan of Richard Ferrone narration. Another great installment.
Story wanders a lot becoming somewhat chaotic in the latter third of the book. I lost interest and stopped caring about the story but only stayed with it until the end because I'd already invested too many hours in listening to this. If you like dark and depressing stories , then I recommend it.
Another strong Bosch story, but REALLY, this is the first half of the book! The author is teasing the reader! Hope the rest of the story is published soon!
Great storytelling. Excellent character development without losing pace. Narrator does a first-rate job. Very strong recommendation.
An excellent sequel to book 1. Moves well, engaging, never dull. Characters are very believable throughout.
Excellent story, well-paced. Characters and plot are entirely believable. The book held my attention from start to finish. Very strong recommendation (definitely adult material).
Okay story but a bit melodramatic and predictable. Main character is not believable. Maybe one too many twists and turns.
Interesting premise, but it takes FOREVER for the writer to tell the story. I stopped caring about one-third of the way through, stuck with it through the second third, but finally gave up without finishing the book. It wasn't an entire waste, though...at least now I'll know to avoid this author in the future.
Weak story, ridiculous dialogue, juvenile plot. I stopped listening not quite half way through, and I stopped caring LONG ago. Will never read this author again. I would give it zero stars if that were an option. Mr. Grabenstein should take up a worthwhile profession that doesn't involve writing.
