    What did you love best about Blood at the Root?

    Plot is quite involved, as usual, but very well done. We see the beginning of the disintegration of banks' marriage. Narration is excellent. Quite enjoyed the whole thing beginning to end!


    What about James Langton’s performance did you like?

    Perfect accents for each character. Well done.

    Where does Innocent Graves rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

    I don't understand why people didn't like this book. Plot and characters were well developed. Narration was also terrific. The only down side was the rather abrupt ending. I expected a few more chapters at least!

    I don't even know if I can bring myself to finish it. The characters are all devoid of reason or depth and the main character is not just a loveable old rapscallion: she's despicable and totally unlikeable. AVOID this book. The plot is idiotic. This book has zero redeeming value. Read it at your own peril.
