Dory is used to fighting hard and nasty. So when she wakes up in a strange scientific lab with a strange man standing over her, her first instinct is to take his head off. Luckily, the man is actually the master vampire Louis-Cesare, so he's not an easy kill. It turns out that Dory had been working with a Vampire Senate task force on the smuggling of magical items and weaponry out of Faerie when she was captured and brought to the lab.

I like this author I like her Cassie series as well as this one. The narrator is ok although i'm often distracted when she talks so long she runs out of breath. The book is good but confusing at times it jumps around with out notice and sometimes you have to rewind because you think you have missed something. She may have noticed this because at the end she took a while to explain exactly what happened then your like ohhhhh ok I get it. So again the book is good you just have to pay close attention and maybe rewind a few times to try to keep up.

I really enjoyed this book although i thought it could have been longer. The narrator is one of my favorites so no complaints there she always does a good job. My name is the same as one of the characters but the annoying one so it kind of took me away from the story. It's a good listen.

Jolie thinks she’s seen it all, but life continues to spring surprises. The latest shocker? She’s just been crowned Queen of the Underworld. Jolie may possess a rare gift for reanimating the dead, but she doesn’t know the first thing about governing disparate factions of supernatural creatures. She can barely maintain order in her own chaotic personal life, which is heading into a romantic tailspin.

I had listened to the previous book and I liked them well enough i had actually forgot about this series and just caught back up with it. The narrator has never been my favorite but she did much better in this book almost like a completely different person. As far as the story it's almost like the author decided to change her writing style and the feel of the book. The dear diary parts i really could have done with out and the flash backs were time consuming and unnecessary jolie was more whiny than usual i didn't really care for this book i'm going to listen to the next one but if it doesn't get better ill have to stop listening to this series.

Here at Shadow Falls, vampires, werewolves, shapshifters, witches and fairies train side by side - learning to harness their powers, control their magic, and live in the normal world. Kylie’s never felt normal, but surely she doesn’t belong here with a bunch of paranormal freaks either. Or does she?

This book could have been better the idea was ok I found it hard to pay attention to the narrator she isn't horrible but i had trouble telling between the different characters. She needs to make the voices more distinct. The story it's self was ok but it seemed like it could have been the first writing attempt. It's ok if you really don't have anything else to listen to it leaves you slightly wondering what happens next.

Kim Harrison is a wonderful writer and this book just supports that claim. The book was entertaining and addictive I just had to know what happened next i really cant wait for the next book. This is a wonderful series and the narrator is amazing she really has the characters down and they are very believable. The only issue i had with this book's narration was the pronunciation of eden the other books she said it as ed-en now its eden hard to explain but it was a little distracting. But in all this is a great book give it a listen.

It's Christmas in Half-Moon Hollow and newly turned vampire Iris Scanlon-Calix wants to make Gigi's first visit home from college as normal and special as possible. It's taken months for Iris to work up the nerve to spend time around her baby sister after her vampire transition, so she enlists help from Jane Jameson and Company to keep her blood-thirst under control and assure Gigi's safety. Gigi, on the other hand, has problems of her own, including the demise of her relationship with high school sweetheart, Ben, and a looming job interview with Ophelia Lambert, the scariest potential employer in the Hollow.

Ok, i usually love the half moon hollow world, but this book i found a bit confusing due to the new characters that are presented as if we knew who they were and it seemed to skip from person to person pretty fast and i found i had to figure out who was talking. I found this short story a little boring not up to par to the usual writing. I just didn't find gigi that interesting.

Smart, über-careful, ordinary Samantha - that's me. But I just couldn't pass up a surprise kiss from my number one unattainable crush. A kiss that did something to me…something strange. Now I feel hungry all the time, but not for food. It's like part of me is missing - and I don't know if I can get it back. Then there's Bishop. At first I thought he was just a street kid, but the secrets he's keeping are as intense as his unearthly blue eyes. If he's what I think he is, he may be the only one who can help me.

I have ran out of books i wanted to hear so i thought it would be ok to listen to this short series. Amanda Ronconi is always entertaining she makes any book interesting so I gave this a shot. It was able to keep my attention I enjoyed listening to it. YA for sure but when you have ran out of all other series you have to branch out. The main character is likable and the co characters are believable. The narrator really makes the story come to life for me. You can give it a try.

I've listened this whole series and I really enjoy it kind of like a soap opera. I really like parish for some reason i find him funny. The series is entertaining i wish the books were a little longer but i enjoy the series. If you like molly harper you will like this book as well I had to check and see if this is a pen name of hers. Don't let the not so good reviews sway you from this series if you like nice girls series you will love this as well.

Recovering witch Garnet Lacey owns Wisconsin's premier occult bookstore. And a fringe benefit of the job is getting customers like Sebastian Von Traum - piercing brown eyes, a sexy accent, and a killer body. The only thing missing is an aura. Which means he's dead. And that means trouble - something Garnet's a sucker for....

I really enjoy listening to amanda ronconi telling stories. She is funny and silly and she really brings life to a story. This book was entertaining and enjoyable. There were some editing issues that were very obvious but it was brief and not a big deal. The story doesn't have a great deal of action its not really edge of your seat but still i enjoyed it.

Being a goddess is a lot less fun than you might think. Especially when you're only a half goddess, you only found out about it recently, and you still don't know what you're doing half the time. And when you've just used your not-so-reliable powers to burglarize the booby-trapped office of a vampire mob boss. Yeah, that part sucks. But that's just the tip of the iceberg for Cassandra Palmer, aka the Pythia, the freshly minted chief seer of the supernatural world.

The book was good even though the way it jumps around you kind of get lost and I had to rewind a few times because i thought i missed something. I really feel that if your only turning out a book in a series once a year that you really shouldn't end it in a cliffhanger because you forget the last book and it's really not fair to the reader we like the books so we will get them regardless so no need to try to make sure we will read the next. The narrator personally I thought the previous one was better but this one did ok. In the beginning it's really hard to stick with the story because she sounds like a robot but it gets better later so if you can hang on do so. It's a good listen still a bit confusing though.

The book its self was good but I feel like there was a rush to finish it and be done with it. It was like she decided that she was tired of writing the book and just wanted to end it. She could have put more time into the story to end it properly. The narrator was great I really like lorelei king she brings excitement to the story. All in all an ok book but nothing special.
