Eric Riordan was once a wealthy man leading a comfortable, easy life. Until one day Gabriel, his oldest friend, Marine Corps veteran, and a former mercenary, told him how the world was going to end. He did his best to prepare. He thought he was ready for anything. He was wrong. As the dead rise up to devour the living, one man finds himself struggling to survive in the ruins of a shattered world. Alone, isolated, and facing starvation, his only chance is to flee to the Appalachians and join forces with Gabriel.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. This is a book (series of three books) that differ from most other "zombie books" in a good way. For once the events leading up to the outbreak and what happens before is realistic.

What did you like best about this story?

Classic zombieapocalyptic story with a twist.

Have you listened to any of Guy Williams’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    Fantastic performance!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes. Twise...

    Any additional comments?

The second book doesn't take the way you would expect... In a very goog way...

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Definitely! A great story, not just zombies and action, this one focus a lot on the characters and the storyline have great 'sidetracks'.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Mad Swine: Dead Winter?

The first 45 minutes - that really sucks... It feels like the beginning of this book is written by another writer... Hold on through the lousy beginning and the story goes from really simple and predictable to high quality fiction!

Which character – as performed by Bernard Setaro Clark – was your favorite?

He does a great job, all the main characters really come to life!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Past the first 45 minutes - Yes!!

    Any additional comments?

The sequel is great & I really hope there'll be a third book!

Ask yourself this: If the dead rise tomorrow, are you ready? Do you have a plan? The dead rose, and the living quickly realized that Hollywood-style tactics were the quickest way to find yourself one of the walking dead. Kasey, a strong-willed loner from West Virginia, and Ben, a college student from Pennsylvania, have shared an unlikely friendship over the years. And their bond is stretched to its limits when society collapses under a tide of zombies. But Kasey has something she likes to call The Zombie Plan.

Would you listen to Roads Less Traveled: The Plan again? Why?

    Yes!
The first time I found it somewhat hard to really relate to the characters, probably because the 'personal information' on the characters is something that gradually is revealed in pieces over the whole trilogy. This made me want to relisten, with this knowledge, right after I finished book three.

What other book might you compare Roads Less Traveled: The Plan to and why?

I would say 'As the World Dies Trilogy' by Rhiannon
Frater and the 'No Easy Hope Trilogy' by James Cook.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Don't have one. This is a great story from beginning to end.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Pretty much.

    Any additional comments?

You might not be hooked right away, but stay with it and you'll get not just one but three great books that you'll probably will listen to more than one time!
