This should be required reading for all teenagers. It shows the major consequences of making the simple but very bad decision of drinking and driving. It was heart wrenching. And after showing all of the pain of making certain life choices, it also showed how to forgive and move on from the past to live in the present and have hope for the future.

Long before saving the earth became a global concern, Dr. Seuss, speaking through his character the Lorax, warned against mindless progress and the danger it posed to the earth's natural beauty.

I love Dr. Seuss and Ted Danson does a fantastic job of reading this book. Plus, the Lorax is a great original story of being green, a classic. It's an inventive way to teach children and adults alike the importance of putting the environment before making money.

Jack Ryan, the former president of the United States, is out of office, but not out of the loop about his brainchild, the “Campus” - a highly effective, counter-terrorism organization that operates outside the Washington hierarchy. But what Ryan doesn’t know is that his son, Jack Ryan, Jr., has joined his cousins, Brian and Dominic Caruso, at the shadowy Campus. While a highly effective analyst, young Ryan hungers for the action of a field agent.

Tom Clancy is a wonderful story teller, and this story does not disappoint. This story is complicated with individual groups of people and parts that come together in suspenseful scenes and an even more suspenseful ending. Lou Diamond Phillips does an amazing job at reading this story. Each of the characters has it's own voice, with accents that fit the characters so well. I loved his reading of the story.

Mackenzie Allen Philips' youngest daughter, Missy, has been abducted during a family vacation and evidence that she may have been brutally murdered is found in an abandoned shack deep in the Oregon wilderness. Four years later in the midst of his Great Sadness, Mack receives a suspicious note, apparently from God, inviting him back to that shack for a weekend. Against his better judgment he arrives at the shack on a wintry afternoon and walks back into his darkest nightmare.

This book opened my heart to God, to Jesus. I had been struggling to find my way closer to God and his Son, but just didn't know how to get there. This book taught me how to communicate better with God, with Jesus, how to depend on and trust God. How to trust God to teach me how to love Him, myself, and everyone around me. Taught me how to listen to God and trust him to lead me. This book has changed my life, it has improved my relationship with God, with Jesus. I am very grateful to the author for pushing ahead and making this book available to everyone.

As a chalk-fingered child, I had worn my craving for Mama's love on my sleeve. But as I grew, that craving became cloaked in excuses and denial until slowly it sank beneath my skin to lie unheeded but vital, like the sinews of my framework. By the time I was a teenager, I thought the gap between Mama and me could not be wider. And then Danny came along.... A splendidly colored sidewalk. Six-year-old Celia presented the gift to her mother with pride - and received only anger in return. Why couldn't Mama love her? Years later, when once-in-a-lifetime love found Celia, her mother opposed it.

The first half of the book brought me in, getting to know the characters. The second half of the book I couldn't put down. It was a storm of strong emotions. I just wanted to keep reading to find out what would happen next with the characters and how their relationships would progress with each other and with God. I love the Bradleyville town because the community is so focused on God and God's path for them. I've learned so much about praying and depending on God for direction from the books. To me all of the Brandilyn Collins books I have read have been very inspirational.

Thank you Audible for this free Novella. It was an enjoyable listen. I found the story and the characters interesting. The narrator fit the voices to the characters and each had a distinctive voice of their own.
