Tori Spelling is the first to admit that the "reality" behind her popular television show, Tori & Dean, isn't always real. Not even Star magazine could invent the true chaos that happens behind the scenes. Luckily, Tori is famously honest and self-deprecatingly funny when it comes to her personal life - she's always "Spelling it like it is". Tori here shares her stories, her biggest challenges, and more with the usual humor, candor, and down-to-earth charm that her fans love.

Ice-T here offers his hip-hop generation’s Horatio Alger story: the narrative of an orphaned child who, drawn inexorably into a harrowing life of crime, ultimately turns away from the streets and, through self-discipline and a single-minded work ethic, forges a path to international fame as a musician and film-and-television star.

Would you listen to Ice again? Why?

Insight into Ice T. Interesting journey through life. Brutally honest about the good and the bad in life.

What did you like best about this story?

Inspirational. Overcoming challenges some self imposed, some by birth right and others by society.

What about Mirron Willis’s performance did you like?

I would have preferred Ice T himself to narrate. Narrator was just OK.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me grateful not to have been born into a family that struggled. It made me happy to see Ice T's spirit and growth into an inspirational man.

    Any additional comments?

Would love to see other books by Ice T.
