Reckless Endangerment was an interesting overview of how we find ourselves in our recent financial crisis (at least with respect to issues in the United States). The authors do a nice job of tying individual events of the last twenty years and how they led, foreseeably to our current situation. Overall I enjoyed this book though it felt at times less of an historic review and more of an editorial.
Great overview of recent financial events.
No, but I don't think that at all harmed my opinion of the book.
Overall, an enjoyable book though the perspective felt a bit slanted at times.
I was beginning to feel like finishing the Wheel of Time series would end up on my bucket list. Then, here the conclusion was finally. Overall, I found this an excellent story with a fitting performance I enjoyed the varied voices which helped keep track of a difficult story with lots of characters. They made it easy to follow and very entertaining. This is one of the books I have enjoyed the most from Audible.
It's difficult to come up with comparisons. If probably have to compare it to the previous Wheel of Time books that I have listened to on audio book.
They gave each of the many characters a different personality. This helped make the story easier to follow and much more enjoyable. Having read many of the earlier books, I think it was easier to follow in an audio format.
Only in that the story was finally complete which was both saddening and pleasing.
The performance was quite good with varied and consistent characters.
On the negative side, I found the story very predictable. It didn't take long to figure out what was going to happen next.
I generally enjoy Grisham's stories but I certainly don't find this his best work. The story was interesting but very predictable.
I enjoyed the character of Wally in terms of the performance. The character himself wasn't my favorite nor do I think he was intended to be. However, I found the performance excellent and consistent with what I would have expected the character to sound like.
Yes it was worth the listening time. Overall, I enjoyed it.
