"Second part the story"
Puppy lives forever
book 2 of "A Dog's Purpose"
The dog's personality is full of charm.
Some of the story is sad.
A must read to finish the story.
"Hitler's Third War."
The facination of "The End" was Hitler's third war, the war against his own people
The failed plot to kill Hitler.
This is the first time I've listened to Mr. Pratt's work.
As an animal lover, I was angered by Hitler's order to euthenize all the pets.
"The End" gives the reader a "you are there" perspective more powerful than "Rise and Fall of the Third Reich."
"out of date."
The story begins with the hunt for Osama Ben Lauden. Story is not up to date.
The time line.
Only read a few lines of chapter 1.
I know it was free, but not worth the trouble.
"The Death of American Way"
This story is simple in it's premise and complicated in it's impact on the characters. The basic experience is: What happens when the EMP effect destroys the American way of liffe? No electricity, no transportation, no grocery or department stores, no entertainment dvd,tv, movies, music cds, computers; everything we now depend upon is lost. How do we live? The story pulls it punches by using a small town. But the characters are believable. Good resolution.
One Second After is a good "end of the world" story.
good characters. readers care about them
The End of American Life.
The end of sociiety, the end of trust, the end of hope. And the human power to return to civilization.
"Love Dogs, Read David"
I've read all of David Rosenfelt's "mystery" with a Dog books and loved them all. Lovable character, good plot, satisfying conclusion. And a hint of humor. Good reading.
"An unexpected read."
The Age of Spiritual Machines is on the cutting edge of science in the Artificial Intelligence research field. An exciting look into the work that is leading us into the future. Written for all to understand. What will it be like to talk with an AI being?
"If you love dogs"
This is a delightful book. One of those stories that draw you back for another read. A story about a special dog and a special relationship. A Dog's Purpose is told from the dog's viewpoint and all the more touching. Don't miss this. A must buy.
"A bookshelf classic"
A Niven and Pournelle classic that has stood the test of time. It's a space alien story with pages of original technology and an unknown world. Good! I've read it twice.
"A Land of Prisoners"
Nothing to Envy is a powerful book about life in North Korea. A heartbreaking history of a people struggling to live in a land without freedom, without nourishment, without medicine, transportation, power, or light. Koreans live in a world that denies their souls. Everything we enjoy is unknown to the people of North Korea. forbidden to speak against the government, forbidden to own a cell phone, or an internet site. This book tells of life in the Dark Age of human history. EE
"A bookshelf classic"
Isaac Asimov is the author of great science fiction classics of the 20th century. Every reader of the genre will include the many novels of Isaac Asimov. The Robots of Dawn is as much about artificial intelligence as it is about human intelligence. About the power and peace of each, and the history of both. Excellent. A classic to read again and again. EE
