From the author who's inspired millions worldwide with books like Tuesdays with Morrie and The Five People You Meet in Heaven comes his most imaginative novel yet, The Time Keeper--a compelling fable about the first man on earth to count the hours.

Even in Grundy, Alaska, its unusual to find a naked guy with a bear trap clamped to his ankle on your porch. But when said guy turns into a wolf, recent southern transplant Mo Wenstein has no difficulty identifying the problem.

What made the experience of listening to How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf the most enjoyable?

This is a light, fun, girly book. It was definitely a fun listen. I found myself laughing out loud as I was listening to it on walks. The narrator is PERFECT for the part of the main character. I would be interested in other books by this author and narrator for some lighthearted entertainment.

The New York Times best-selling author of The Girl Who Chased the Moon welcomes you to her newest locale: Walls of Water, North Carolina, where the secrets are thicker than the fog from the town’s famous waterfalls, and the stuff of superstition is just as real as you want it to be.

Would you try another book from Sarah Addison Allen and/or Karen White?

This was an okay listen, but it was just okay. I wasn't terribly captivated by any of the characters. It certainly wasn't a waste of time, but it's been a couple of months since I listened to it and I can hardly remember it.

Born a generation apart and with very different ideas about love and family, Mariam and Laila are two women brought jarringly together by war, by loss, and by fate. As they endure the ever escalating dangers around them, in their home as well as in the streets of Kabul, they come to form a bond that makes them both sisters and mother-daughter to each other, and that will ultimately alter the course not just of their own lives but of the next generation.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I did not expect to like this book, which was chosen by my book club, so I chose to listen to it rather than read it. Boy, was I surprised. I loved the narrator and the story was sweet, even though I think something was probably lost in abridged version. I would highly recommend this one, especially for women.

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Thousand Splendid Suns?

The ending and I can't reveal that!

    Any additional comments?

This was an interesting book and I liked the author's performance. It helped that the narrator had an authentic accent. The story was interesting, funny, sad, eye-opening, and left me fulfilled as a listener, but also pondering. I recommend it.
