    Not what I was expecting at all.. OFF the beaten path for sure...& so well written that at times I found myself getting more into the amazing 'writing' than the story line. Atwood is extremely gifted at getting to the CORE of humanity's deepest feelings, frailties, failures and strengths in this very unusual tale. Claire Danes was perfect. This is one I won't forget!

    Entertaining and thought provoking. A SOLID 4 star book...I thought it would be rather light-weight, but was happily surprised at the debth of character and story line. Get it... You won't be dissapointed!

    The most depressing book! The author is very gifted in the writing department,no doubt, but such a woeful tale! I am a Christian and felt this was anti-CHristian all the way through. vERY DISSAPOINTED... UGH.
