"surprised!"
the end of the story was VERY surprising, without giving to much info, I really did not expect one of the main female characters to be who she was. who the heck would have thought of such an ending!
how glamorous the couples life was, beautiful children, great girlfriends, love of their faith then BOOM, the real story begins........
excitement, her voice made the story believable, til u get to the end, then BOOM!
THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT!
this was a great book, as a mail carrier walking all day gets kinda boring, (right). the characters, had my lil mind constantly in a state of OMG. walking down the streets damn near talking to myself, rewinding my ipod to see if I heard her rite or did she say what I thought she said??? It took me 3 days to listen to since i only listen to my books when i'm working, makes the day shorter. I was pleased. kudo's to the author, and narrator.
"very boring, too predictable"
just wasn't feeling the story, too drawn out for something that was obvious
no
love her as a narrator, story was whack
none
"brillant!"
The authors of this trilogy should be called the DYNAMIC DUO, can't wait for book 3
"very exciting read!!!"
like the fact that the authors started the characters journey from their youth to adult hood
Liberty, was my fav, she went thru hell from a child on into adulthood, but never stopped loving her savior
when the young boy protected her from the rebels, and his father
YES IN DEED
I will listen to any and all of the books that Ashley/JaQuavis write, I'm really liking them. I do think I should have started with this book first, before I listened to Cartel 1,2 &3 seeing the Murda Mama's were hired toward the end of this book.
"just ok"
yeah! i spent money on it, so what the hey i had no other choice
i was'nt that moved by this book, so i can't answer
all the narrators were great, like listening to different voices on one audio
NO
will continue to patronize Eric Pete, but this just wasn't my cup of tea.
"BRAVO!!!"
The anticipation, could'nt wait on the next chapters to start! OMG!
the relationships that the couples had, each couple had their own personal, but intimate problems, but is was all love, the love that no matter what was wrong or what happened they each were united in one way or the other.
He is the BOMB, what a great narrator, he also has a gifted voice, made the story interesting, alive, vivid, i could see the performers in my mind as if i were looking at tv
Breeze, she went thru hell and back twice, and survived, (without giving up the end I'll put it like this) TIL DEATH DO US PART!
I like to congratulate the authors Ashley & Jaquavis on a great story, they have a great future ahead of them, I must say out of all the books i"ve purchased from Audible this has to be one of the best urban book i purchased.. KUDO'S to the both of you, and can't wait to hear from Carter
"exciting, thrilling,"
yes, on my way to purchase parts 2 & 3, can't wait to start listening.
Mecca, was my favorite, lots of drama in every scene he was in. never knew what frame of mind he was in
when Breeze was abducted by the murda mama's and killed
NONE, I may not have made it home, they all seemed to be killers at heart.
this book reminds me of the Dutch trilogy, by Teri Woods, it was also a great audio to listen too, well worth the money. the narrator Cary Hite was great, reminds me of Erza Knight.
"kinda, sorta, maybe"
staying in 1 maybe 2 locations, to much traveling,
not sure if it will be a Miasha book, least not to soon.
very much so
none what so ever
to the author:U have writing skills, but this one was not quite right.Last year i listened to secret society and it was a pretty good audio which means to me you have what it takes please don't give up, i do believe u will make it.
"Less is MORE"
yes, the narrator made this audio worth listening too, he brought the book alive. I do believe i would have put it down if i had to read it
the freaking story line was great, the characters were even better.
when Justin Westbrook decided to revisit the crime scene and discovered more than he really wanted
Bad cops are good Too
I paid $5.00 for one of the best crime books I've purchased on Audible, and $20.00 for ones that should have cost me FREE
"worth the wait"
yes, it was long enough to keep my attention, and the story line was pretty good
When Dorain proposed to Jada
Sunny was doing a fashion show had a mishap, but kept her cool and continued the show with style and sass
yes, how Jada's and Sunny's kids had each others backs regardless of how crazy ONE of them was.
Tracy Brown is going to be make a few other writers reconsider who they're up against, good job TB.
"Totally deceiving"
better story line
Not to sure, but will consider giving writer another shot
YES, she a great story teller, one of my favorites
Not at all
Just didn't move me, normally takes me 1, no more than 2 days to listen to a good audio, but this took 2weeks, it was just to darn boring
