With the scandalous nature of her birth to live down, Isabella Fairmont dreams of a proper marriage—even if a passionless one. She saves her deepest desires for the novel she dares to pen, wherein a handsome lord with dark powers seduces her. But then her courtship with an appropriate suitor is threatened by the sudden attentions of the reclusive Earl of Black… whose pale blue eyes and brooding sensuality are exactly as she described in her book.

OMG... I cannot wait to read more from Charlotte Featherstone!!! The way she is able to put to words the feelings she is expressing in her writing is remarkable!! I cannot even think of another author to compare her to, Christine Feehan would be the closest but I have to say Charlotte Featherstone is one author I will read for as long as she writes!!

I bought this book because of the description and reviews. It was overall a very good book, I prefer romance with more intimate moments/detail. While there were moments in this book they were very light in my opinion. I will most likely purchase another Laura Landon romance because the story was well written and very enjoyable. I enjoyed the characters and found myself looking online to read more about the author and if this book was part of a series, so yes I am interested in reading more.

When Cat Crandall ditches her career in advertising to take a job teaching painting workshops in exotic locations, she's hoping to be sent to Tuscany or maybe France. Instead, she's assigned to lead a group of aspiring artists through the backcountry of the isolated Boyd Dude Ranch in Wyoming. Mack Boyd is in the middle of the best bronc-riding season of his life when his mother asks him to help lead an artists' retreat at the ranch. Mack might be able to ride a wild stallion to a standstill, but he can't say no to his family.

The story was well written and I enjoyed all the detail. About 15 chapters into the book I kept getting irritated that nothing was happening and continue to wonder, why am I still listening?? Maybe it’s just me, it was just missing something. I am currently on chapter 35 of 48 after skipping the last 2 chapters I don't think I will be able to finish it. I believe that it is a good book just not for me.

I have this entire series on audio, this is the first time I have considered purchasing the book. I am so disappointed!! The narrator was bad, there are 2 or 3 names he pronounces differently/wrong than all other books that these characters are in. Research! Research! Research!

The main characters name sounds like TATAJOHNYA vs. Tatijana. Robert Sarkus was not all bad but after listening to the previous 23 books it is a HUGE difference, please bring back Phil Gigante!!!

I waited and waited for this book and as soon as I heard him say the main characters name I knew it was going to be a hard listen. I love this book and look forward to reading it again... on my tablet.

Lucy Ashton had long ago given up her quest for true love. In the rarified society of Victorian England, Lucy plays the game—flirting, dancing and dabbling in the newly fashionable spiritualism. Even marrying when—and who—she’s supposed to. If the stuffy Duke of Sussex cannot spark the passion she craves, he can at least give her a family, a home of her own, and a place to belong. But when her polite marriage reveals a caring and sensual man, Lucy begins to wonder if she can indeed have it all.

This is a great wonderful romance story and I absolutely LOVE Catherine Coulter but the narrator is not very good. Please stick with Anne Flosnik for these kinds of books.

I absolutely LOVE the Dark Series and cannot wait for more of them in the future, but I have to say this one just did not have the punch for me like most of the others, I was not hanging on to find out what happens next. I prefer the US or Carpathian Mountains setting for the location of the story lines, maybe that's my problem. I love the series and will continue to read them!!!
