The books I have read by Lisa Gardner are all twisted and have children that are hurt. This one has more twist that a candy cane....Kirsten Potter did a great job giving the charactors their own personalties...Made the morning drive enjoyable
Could you do what must be done to survive?
When the worst happens could you keep moving forward...where is safe?
Beautiful way to end. I have enjoyed all of the Odd books. The first was the best. Now this one that ends the story is oddly sweet. Good by Oddie. You kindness and caring will be missed.
This is written for a younger person and the story plodded at times. Serahina is enchanting and precocious enough to keep you going. There were times the storyteller seemed not to know what to do with the character but how does an emotionless dragon sound when he is trying to be human also. I will read the second book...I do love dragons.
Department Q makes me smile. This one is the best. Flawed people make life better. Plenty of bad guys a few holes but I loved it.
I love the characters.
Knowing the right things to do and having the courage to do them. A well told story.
Too many questions. Oy
This cannot be the end.
I w a n t more. Or to have ends tied.
Watch the movie. I did not give a wit for a single person. In the darkest of murder stories someone has a redeeming trait. But not here.
Read hardback and listened also. Could not put this down. Finished final pages in front of my fireplace. Flames were dancing.
This is Jo Nesbo at his best. I loved it from the first page. When you think you know what is going to happen everything changes. This is a stand alone book that might have a follow up story. I liked Sonny and for a cold blooded killer to be liked takes tallent by the story teller.
This is not what you think a sniper/killer would do so it was a nice change of pace. Plenty of action to keep the listener going and a great ending.
