Yes, I will probably listen to this series again. It is well written with a compelling storyline.
I would compare this series to Guardians of Ga'Hoole series by Kathryn Lasky and Septimus Heap series by Angie Sage.
Great voice actor.
Unfortunately, Suzanne Collins did not end the story. It seems to me that she was prepared to write another book but never did. She left too many loose ends with all the significant and some of the secondary characters. The book would have ended much better if she went 10-20 years in the future as J.K. Rowling did with Harry Potter and Collins did with the Hunger Games series. As it stands now,Collins needs to write the actual last book for this series.
I am enjoying this series a great deal. I had to listen to this book out is sequence as it just came out on Audible. I am hopeful that all the books will be available and that Mr. Flint continues the stories.
I was uneasy buying this with many lovers of R. A. Savatore's writing stating the reader was "Horrid"; "bad narrator", and ""I miss Victor Bevine!" I suspect if Mark Bramhall was the primary reader of all the Drizzt stories and Victor Bevine read a few of the books the same would be said. The fact is we can get use to a particular reader. I would recommend this to anyone who likes the Drizzt stories. This and the other books in the Forgotten Realms series adds a lot to the character development of all the beloved main characters
