I don't know if the book is good or not because of the reader. She tries to use different voices for the characters and it ends up beeing horrible. I finally had to just turn it off

I really enjoyed this book! Took me a while to figure out who the bad guy really was.

Alex Cross' first case since joining the FBI has his new colleagues stymied. Across the country, men and women are being kidnapped in broad daylight and then disappearing completely. These people are not being taken for ransom, Alex realizes. They are being bought and sold. And it looks like a shadowy figure known as the Wolf, a master criminal who has brought a new reign of terror to organized crime, is behind this business in which ordinary men and women are sold as slaves.

    "Great Book"
    Overall

This book is one of James Pattersons best. The reading was wonderful. There has to be a second book. I can't wait to see if Alex get the Wolf and gets little Alex back.

Six children have escaped government experiments, and a frightening brush with death. Living out in the world for the first time, they yearn to be reunited with Kit and Frannie, the couple who saved their lives, and to return to the cabin known as the Lake House. But before they can get there, they will face a horrifying evil, for one man has survived the laboratory that bred the flying children, and he is obsessed with reclaiming them for a new round of experiments - with an even more deadly outcome.

    "What was he thinking?"
    Overall

I really enjoy James Patterson's books, however, this is the exception. It is so unlike his other books. What was he thinking when he wrote this. I could not finish it. It was stupid. There is no other word. I wasted a credit on this book. I wish I had read the other reviews before I purchased.
