Hey, baby, Debbie and Edwina aren’t likely to thank anybody very much when a despicable sneak thief pilfers Elvis Presley’s blue suede shoes—the main exhibit at a Salt Lick, Texas, festival for the King. But with everyone’s favorite Southern detectives on the case, the proceedings are likely to be as tasty as a bacon, banana, and peanut-butter sandwich.

    Story

If you want a book that is full of sassy fluff this is the series for you. Dixie Cash has written another fun, laugh out loud book. Peggity Price brings Debbie Sue and Edwina to life, making them friends of your's that you miss until the next book in the series comes out.
Though this book was slower than the former 4 books it was still fun. All of the books in this series has the same line up there is always a little mystery, a new boy and new girl. The new boy and girl have differences then become a couple with the aid of Debbie Sue and Edwina. In this one it is Elvis's birthday and his blue suede shoes have gone missing. The mystery wouldn't be solved without the help of the Domestic Equalizer the second business that Debbie Sue and Edwina run out of their beauty salon, the Styling Station.

The tree is decorated, the cookies are baked, and the packages are wrapped, but the biggest celebration this Christmas is Gaby Summerhill's wedding. Since her husband died three years ago, Gaby's four children have drifted apart, each consumed by the turbulence of their own lives. They haven't celebrated Christmas together since their father's death, but when Gaby announces that she's getting married - and that the groom will remain a secret until the wedding day - she may finally be able to bring them home for the holidays. But the wedding isn't Gaby's only surprise....

    Story

Over all the story was ok, but had trouble getting past the fact that the main character was asked to marry three men and didn't answer them untill the day of the wedding. How did they get a license? I know, I know it is just a story but I don't think anyone would wait to find out if they were marring that day they are accepted. Another thing that bothered me was the main character caught her teenage grandson smoking marijuana with his young cousin and all he got was a slap on the wrist if that much. Not sure this book was the best Patterson book.
