    I have a large collection of audiobooks, they keep me nailed to my desk when other distractions beckon. I had high expectations of this piece of work, (as a fan of the books) but was sorely disappointed, the background music is intrusive and the attempt at "radio drama" is worse than amateurish - its rubbish.
    It grates on the ears and is so bad I could not tolerate any more than twenty minutes before I gave up. I had to think long and hard before I could figure out what it was that offended - in the end I concluded that the "äctors" sounded pompous and far too deliberate in their delivery. If there really are star dwellers out there somewhere and they talk like this bunch they will defeat earth by boring us to death !!! Its so bad that I really want my money back !!
