I enjoyed the book, a good and believable storyline. However, Howard needs to check location facts. Nothing drives me crazier than knowing some facts are wrong ie McLean is in Fairfax Co, not PG Co.and you look at the White House and the Washington Monument from the Hay Adams not the Capitol, this type of screw up bothers me.
This book has kept me on edge from start to finish, the type of edge I feel while watching a close Redskins game, nail biting and all.
Well, all I can say is that I truly hope that this book of conversations, conversations and conversations is building up to a fantastic book 15. ON THE OTHER HAND...
I LOVE the Sookie books.
This series of books is one of my all time favorites and I'm truly sad only one book remains to come.
Charlaine has created a fun fast paced interesting world that Sookie lives in. so much so that I just can't get into the TV "adaptation" that loosely follows this series. Charlaines Sookie world rocks the way she penned it. You won't see me giving many 5 stars and I do with this group of books. Please start with the first book and follow them in order. I also like the narrator Joanna Parker for this series. Sometimes a narrator fits like Jim Dale did for the Potter books and so Joanna does here.
Molly's book are wonderfully funny, not a stinker in the lot. She also has another series just as good as this one, it centers around werewolf's, they too are a fun read (listen). Molly gets five stars in my book.
She did it again! Funny, snarky and a very good story line. Molly, please keep them coming.
Molly is one writer that knows how to spin a truly funny and pleasing story that leaves you wanting more. I've had the pleasure of all her works and not a stinker among them! I wait eagerly for her next book.
Loved the action and the plot. However it left me wondering what the "a--hole" pencil pusher is up to.
A good listen however short.
For me it was knowing at once what the doll was from earlier Arcane Society stories.
Yes, I listen to 4+ books a week and although I'm not one to care who reads them I do care that they are read well. I find this one read well and with a pleasant voice. I also find this book to be comparable to others in the Harmony/Arcane series.
The kids run for cover.
I'm looking forward to more island adventures.
