"Worth the listen"
When I first downloaded the book, I thought to myself 28 hrs is really long for a book.
As it turned out Condoleeza had a lot to say (worth listening to) .
I found her point a view invaluable as I dissect the Bush administration from the inside. Her views of Donald Rumsfeld were interesting(his book is next for me) as were they on Colin Powell. I'm a supporter of George Bush and have read his and Cheney's book along with Karl Roves. They made mistakes and to get all sides of the story you must read, No Higher Honor.
You will discover a well rounded sensitive person who loves her family and country.
This is worth the time investment if you like history.
"I found it interesting worth the read!"
A well written account of cycling, the desire to compete and how the rules were twisted.
I now understand how it all works and how easy it is to love something so much you are willing to risk all. Now I wonder what other sports use these techniques.
"When you know the facts."
A very good book about a tragedy that could have been avoided.
It wasn't about firearms it was about professionals not acting on the signs that were as plain as the nose on your face. After the killings they tried to cover it up.
Well written and narrated.
"Informative and shocking."
An interesting read about a subject I knew little about. Sure I surf the internet but never understood the workings and how someone benefits from all the viruses(malware).
I came away knowing more about the internet and with less confidence in my government to protect us.
I would recommend this book as an eye opener!
"Added History"
If you liked Nathaniel Philbrick's The last stand. This book is a perfect addition to the facts learned in Philbricks history of the battle.
A point of view from a Bentine admirer that supports a opinion from the troops that lived with the fallen soldiers.
"The death of Lincoln CSI"
The autopsy of Lincolns death with all the sub plots was performed by Bill And Martin in this well written book.
Although I listen to it in my car through audible books. It was interesting to know how all the players came to together with the war being the main back ground.Politics and personnel hatred were much alive in 1864.
Bills performance as a narrator was ok as I like Bill very much. There's a monotone or cadence in his presentation that is annoying however. Sorry Bill but it would have been better read by someone else.
The book is a must read if you like complete details and darkening plots.
"Second Amendment " We'll destroy it at all cost ""
Katie Pavlich has capture in detail just how far the Obama administration was willing to go in their deception to blame law abiding gun shop owners for our government failure on the border.
As Rob Emanuel said “You never let a serious crisis go to waste”
The gun hating second amendment crown crossed a deadly line in their lust for change. Americans and hundreds of innocent Mexicans ended up murdered and the nightmare is far from over.
The facts in this book come from whistle blowers and recorded facts from the ongoing congressional hearings not conjecture. Any American or Mexican that reads this who is not writing our President or Mexico’s asking for Holders head should be ashamed.
A good read and lesson in American Politics.
