"thoroughly enjoyable"
Loved this book. Loved the characters and story line. Easy to follow and believable.
"interesting journey"
I found myself intrigued from the beginning of the book. I enjoyed the character development as well as the scenery and description of the surroundings. Even opened my eyes to the beauty of India.
"Hopes dashed"
I had hoped that the story line would be the "star" of this book. The synopsis really grabbed me. I was pretty put off by the multiple sexual situations. I truly don't mind sexual situations when it is integral to the story, but these sexual situations were gratuitous and too many. I found that i wanted to love the characters and follow them, but the sex got in the way, so I didn't even finish the book.
"Good characters, but lost interest"
The story started off pretty good. I did enjoy getting to know some of the police characters, but lost interest after awhile
"Interesting but predictable"
Even though I was able to guess the link early on, it was generally enjoyable getting there.
"Compelling Story"
This is a new author for me. I am looking forward to reading more of her work. Great story. Naration was great too.
"Enlightening"
Loved this book. The narration was 5 star too. Gave me a nice insight into the thought process of people with AS. Great story too, had me guessing almost to the end of the book.
"Good story, not so good narration"
Robin Cook did not dissapoint. The storyline kept my interest, but the narration made me want to sleep. The voices for the characters were kind of lame.
"really?"
After reading the Time Traveler's Wife I should have expected an off beat book. I actually enjoyed the first half. The last half was just so far fetched, I had a hard time caring about the characters.
"Didn't want to stop"
Loved this book! I bought it so that I could listen while taking long walks. I didn't want to stop listening when the walk was over. Totally sucked me in.
