What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

    Being unabridged

If you’ve listened to books by Joe McGinniss before, how does this one compare?

    n/a

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Christopher Reeve?

    undetermined

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I read the book, and though it met the general qualities of the printed version, abridged versions miss so much. Especially when you know what should be there.

    Any additional comments?

I would like to see more 'True Crimes' (unabridged) in your library. I'm having difficulty finding any and that's what I listen to.

Every mother's worst fear became Sharon Rocha's reality. On Christmas Eve 2002, she received a phone call from her son-in-law saying that her daughter, Laci, was missing. In the hours, days, and eventually months that followed, Sharon struggled to avoid accepting what no parent should ever have to face: the certain knowledge that her child is never coming home.
