I would definitely recommend this audiobook to my friends. I am already a Zane fan and this was my first full segment audio book and I'm trying to join APF (LOL). Seriously, this medium is awesome. It will be a great add to my road trips! now not just music on my iPod but audio books.
This was my first book to listen to so I do not have any other books to make a comparison at this time.
Honestly, the alley scene between MaryAnn, Olive and Drayton. As a book reader with an avid imagination, I can already add character faces and imagine scenes quite vividly so this really adds to it.
yes. definitely wanted to listen to this all in one sitting. and i'm about to listen to another one as I continue my studies.
Growing up I was a reader. From the age of 3 I was reading music notes, newspaper, any book. It didn't matter. Now as I'm getting older, I'm noticing I do still like visual but I'm going more into the audio as well. I used to read the bible all of the time but got to the point where I didn't anymore, except at church which is no bueno. I've heard of other audio bibles but I didn't want anything boring. So when I heard about this group of actors recording the bible, I knew it would hold my interest so I joined audible and purchased Old/New and Proverbs. I love it. I can listen to it at home/work on computer AND on via my phone in car or on train commute. Great idea!
This is my first inspirational purchase for an audio book so I can't compare it to anything..except maybe the new testament and proverbs.
I finished listening to the book of Esther earlier this morning and I've read that book before and didn't get all of that out of it. The audio works with my imagination so now I'll forever remember the story.
oh noooo...you can't listen to this in one sitting. It's too much information for that. This is a book one listens to and then re-listens to. It's information but in a fun way.
I'm glad someone put this together. My attention span is not the same with reading and I needed a way to get back into reading/absorbing the Word of God. Thank you!
as a book lover, i always wondered how i'd transition from reading to listening. if this is an example of how the books will
Honestly Joey had me cracking up, I was wondering what was going to come next after
as a person of active imagination, i've always been able to give vision and voice to the characters as I read, however this gives a clearer voice.
