When Barry Fairbrother dies in his early 40s, the town of Pagford is left in shock. Pagford is, seemingly, an English idyll, with a cobbled market square and an ancient abbey, but what lies behind the pretty facade is a town at war. Rich at war with poor, teenagers at war with their parents, wives at war with their husbands, teachers at war with their pupils.... Pagford is not what it first seems. And the empty seat left by Barry on the parish council soon becomes the catalyst for the biggest war the town has yet seen.

There’s deadly trouble in the wilds of Nebraska… and Reacher walks right into it. First he falls foul of the Duncans, a local clan that has terrified an entire county into submission. But it’s the unsolved case of a missing eight-year-old girl, already decades-old, that Reacher can’t let go.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

    No. Too boring.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

    Nothing, the narration was fine

Do you think Worth Dying For needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

    Hell no

    Any additional comments?

It's an okay story but it really drags through the middle. Not as good as other Lee Child books I have read.
