Most of us think of sales as convincing potential customers to believe or do something they don't really want to. But that cutthroat mentality makes the process much harder than it has to be—especially in an economic downturn, when customers are more suspicious and defensive. It's far more productive (and satisfying) when salespeople think like Go-Givers and focus exclusively on creating value for the customer.

What made the experience of listening to Go-Givers Sell More the most enjoyable?

The great stories, information and ideas of how I might apply this to my own business.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Ernesto because of his coaching advise to Joe on how we need to be asking first if it adds value to the other person, because we must really focus on the value we add to others before they will want to buy.

Have you listened to any of Bob Burg and John Mann ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    no

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes

    Any additional comments?

I would strongly recommend this book to all people because all people are trying to sell something even if its the way that they want the dishes put in the dishwasher.
