Husband-and-wife team Sam and Remi Fargo are intrigued when an archaeologist friend requests their help excavating a top secret historical site. What they find will set them on a hunt for a prize greater than they could ever imagine. The clues point to the hidden tomb of Attila the Hun, the High King who was reportedly buried with a vast fortune of gold and jewels and plunder....a bounty that has never been found. As they follow the trail, the Fargos will find themselves pitted against a thieving group of treasure hunters.

Would you listen to The Tombs again? Why?

Yes, the story is interesting in a historical and adventure sense. The characters are as with most of Cussler's characters are well defined and developed in a way that pulls you into the story even if you are not normally an adventure book series person.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Tombs?

The fighting scene in which the Fargos are using cannon balls to fight off snipers. The way the Fargos ecape the main bad guys home on horseback after using flour to cause a flash over explosion to set the kitchen on fire.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, in fact while at working doing the stocking at night my co-workers would give me funny looks because of my random outburst of laughter related to the story. I loved having the story going thru headphones as I worked through the long hours in the very early morning

What did you love best about The Black Prism?

The coming to age aspect of Kip in relation to learning and discovering a new world beyond his imagination. Founding out you are able to use magic by "drafting" light when you are stressed, running for your life from an invading army after watching two of your friends getting killed. Witnessing your mom die from wounds given to her by the invading, even if your mom is crazy and a drug addict messes with your mind. Then to top of the first part of the book finding out your a bastard to one of the most powerful men in the world. Talk about having to grown up quick.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Cristofer Jean?

I think Lou Diamond Phillips would have been a better narrator than Cristofer Jean. I had a hard time to keeping focus on the story instead of focusing of Jean's faults as a narrator. So it made following the story hard and thus less enjoyable than previously listened to books.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, as mentioned due to narrator it made this book one that I needed to pause after awhile and ponder what had happened in the storyline.

It's a gorgeous autumn day in Georgetown. The Democratic candidates for president and vice-president of the United States are dutifully glad-handing voters and the media outside a grand estate where a national-security conference has just been held, bringing together the world's greatest minds to discuss the issues that are threatening the country. It's American politicking at its best. That's when all hell breaks loose.

What did you love best about Act of Treason?

The action and the adventure in which we see not only Rapp involved with but also Kennedy. I mean, righteous, poisoning in the the Oval office. So freaking cool

Who was your favorite character and why?

Rapp-he just is so cool with a no BS attitude for politics or stupid things get in the way of taking care of business and making sure America is safe from foreign or domestic enemies

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No extreme reaction except pure enjoyment and not wanting to turn off the audio and listen until the end of the book

    Any additional comments?

As always Vince Flynn has taken Mitch for a ride and amazingly Mitch fixes the nation's problems and prevails in the end even though he may not personally get ahead or even come out even, for Mitch its all about America and making sure she's safe and sound and prospering.

They are being investigated, turned on, and outright plotted against all in the effort to stop Jack Sr. from winning another chance at being President a second time. This is another solid book in the Jack Ryan universe having all the characters in play the book can be overwhelming especially if you try to read it in 18 hours, I don’t recommend you’ll miss something and not know it until you start to read the next installment. Enjoy Clancy fans.

It's just seven days before Memorial Day, and a spike in CIA intelligence has pointed to a major terrorist attack on the United States. Now it's up to counterterrorism operative Mitch Rapp to pull out all the stops. Rapp immediately leaves for Afghanistan, where he leads a special forces unit on a daring commando raid across the border into a remote Pakistani village. Their target: an al-Qaeda stronghold. Rapp and his team soon discover plans for a catastrophic nuclear attack on Washington, DC.

The team is sent out on a mission without King, but he can’t be out done because he has to save Fort Bragg all by himself. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a read/listen in which you can turn the brain off and just relax and have some fun.

After years of working in the shadows, Rapp was caught in the media spotlight - and marked for death by virtually every terrorist in the world. Now a CIA advisor, Rapp is ready to battle terror far from the front lines. But when a Navy SEAL team in the Philippines is ambushed, all evidence points to a leak within the U.S. State Department. Well maybe. Again, fans of Flynn will enjoy the adventure, politics, and suspense in which he intertwines in his books.

Sam and Remi Fargo return for the thrilling third adventure in the acclaimed new series. In Spartan Gold and Lost Empire, Clive Cussler brought readers into the world of husband-and-wife team Sam and Remi Fargo, whose passion and instinct for treasure-hunting has led to extraordinary discoveries-and perilous journeys. Their next adventure, however, might be their most astonishing yet.

Another intriguing story with the Fargos sent off to help a friend and then find themselves having another life changing adventure. The story is mostly set in Nepal but travels into Asia and the surrounding areas. So for people who don't like books that take them away from the US then Cussler is not your author. Cussler makes an appearance as he has in the last several books giving advice to steer the story back on course or in the direction best suited to complete a task. I, again, would recommend the Fargo Adventures to any fan of Cussler and fans of the action adventure genre.

I have enjoyed this series of books and am looking forward to one day Michael Bay or JJ Abrams creating the Rapp universe.

Would you listen to The Third Option again? Why?

I would listen any of the Mitch Rapp stories again. Not only is the plot filled twists and turns and political along with military intrigue, Mitch is out killing all the bad guys. Mitch is helped out by a new set of characters who add an extra layer of kick ass to the story. This story and real any of the Mitch Rapp sagas is recommended to readers who like the military/political thriller genre of books

What did you like best about this story?

The no nonsense way Flynn writes his stories. He has created a hero who is American's answer to terrorist even if the people or politicians don't he out there taken care of the bad guys. The interactions between Kennedy and Rapp are some the most interesting conversations between a boss and worker, but Rapp will assassinate the people in his way and sleep like a baby in the morning.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Framed, Pissed, and out for blood, just another day on the job for Mitch Rapp.
