This is not a Mitch Rapp book; however, you are introduced to some of the characters in the Rapp series. I think this should be standard reading for every politician! It reads (listens) like most of the Flynn books. The storyline is wishful thinking, but wouldn't it be nice if politicians had consequences for turning D.C. into thier own playground and stopped fighting for the people they represent.
Like the narrator much better than some of the earlier books. If you like Flynn and Rapp you won't be disappointed. The one drawback was they amount of time transitioning from one chapter of the book to the next. Probably 20 minutes in dead space between chapters in all. I kept checking my ipod to make sure I hadn't turned it off between chapters.
The story was the typical Mitch Rapp. If you like the others, you'll like this one. This is probably the worst narration of any book I've listened to ever.
The voice was wrong for this series. The characters didn't have their own voice, there was no consistantency. There was just a voice change whenever a character changed. The men sounded way too feminine. I could go on, but would just be repeating myself. Wrong reader for this work!!!
